About Progress over Perfection

I have always been an over-thinker: A worrier who creates problems that are not there. A person who is plagued by “worse case scenario.” This is exhausting! It leaves you feeling defeated and overwhelmed. It takes a toll on all aspects of your life: your school or work, your relationships, your social life. It’s a vicious cycle: you are constantly worrying about the little things, which leads to constant stress and panic, which causes more worrying and overthinking.

I’m here to tell you that life is too short to worry about the things you can’t control. You’re not going to have it all together. You’re life is going to be a mess. And THATS OKAY! Your 20s are a time to learn life lessons and figure out who you are. You are not going to be perfect, but you don’t need to be. Just be the best YOU you can be! Set goals for yourself and strive for progress, not perfection; because you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing!

I started Progress over Perfection to share my journey of overcoming perfection and improving myself. I want to share the lessons I have learned along the way and the one’s that I continue to learn everyday!
